Overview
Because burner tiles made of conventional castable have higher thermal conductivity and are directly exposed to the burner flame, they are easily cracked or damaged by repeated thermal shocks, cause emergency shut down, and results not only the cost of replacement, but also enormous losses due to the interruption of production.
Recently, a burner tile made of vacuum-formed ceramic material called ‘BBM-16’, which is light and has no problem with thermal shock, has been developed, which compensates for the disadvantages of conventional castable burner tiles, which can solve the problems caused by damage to the burner tiles.
BBM-16 is a new type of burner tile that can be used for a long time without cracks or damage due to repeated thermal shock.
