Overview
This is a process to produce Styrene Monomer by injecting Benzene and Ethylene produced in NCC as raw materials to generate Ethyl Benzene through Alkylation, and then passing the Ethyl-Benzene to the Dehydrogenates reaction process again.
In order to supply the heat source necessary for the dehydrogenation reaction during the entire process, a 'Steam Superheater', which consists of a Radiant Zone and a Convection Zone, and produces Super Steam, is required. This one also similar to NCC Ethylene Cracker and has similar shape/specification refractory composition.
Because of the severe flow of the Process coil during the process and the deformation of the coil due to the long use time, there is a high risk of damage and dropout of nearby refractory materials contact with it. Therefore, technical considerations and simulations for refractory linings installed around coils are required especially.
