Overview

During the high-temperature aluminum smelting process, such as the primary/secondary furnace, ladle and launder, which are aluminum manufacturing facilities, the molten aluminum tends to penetrate inside the refractory lining and reacts with the refractory aggregate to corrode the lining, causing frequent refractory repair.

In order to improve productivity through energy saving in the aluminum manufacturing process and to maintain stable equipment, it is most important to select non-wetting and stable refractory materials against thermal shock.
