OUR MARKET 
Torpedo Car
Overview
Torpedo Car is a type of transfer ladle car composed of a molten heat insulating refractory metal for receiving molten pig iron produced in the Blast Furnace and transferring it to a steel mill and a transporting train.
Firebrick is applied to the cylindrical and conical parts of the cylinder including the slag line, and 1600℃ grade Dense Castable is installed between the brick and the casing to secure the stability of the Brick Lining and prevent the penetration of molten pig iron. High Alumina Brick is installed on the bottom of the car, which is easily worn due to the impact of molten pig iron falling.
Cylindrical and conical sections of the cylinder, including the slag line where Molten Iron abuts, are lined with refractory bricks. The monolithic refractory is tightly packed in the space between the brick and the shell to stabilize the refractory brick and prevent the penetration of molten pig iron.
