Background
We compared TAIKALITE which is Dry FireProofing Method to Wet FireProofing Method (3hours) products then we choose TAIKALITE. Because TAIKALITE has better finishablility, construct ablilty and stablilty than Wet Fire Proofing products.
In fact, Wet FireProofing method can be affacted by weather especially in the winter. It takes more time to compete the construction and have to repeately apply it during construction period. Also, It affacts other construction procedure in result can be delayed whole construsion delay.
Building on the project findings, we figured out when we applied TAIKALITE, we could reduced the construction period.
Futhurmore, we confrimed excellence of products by visiting overseas site in Japan with owner of project.
Strength about TAIKALITE
One layer of fire-resistance coating and finishing of the steel structure is easily installed.
Construction is possible regardless of season (temperature/humidity).
Maintains uniform fire resistance quality by dry method.
Excellent seismic performance.

Project Summary
By applying it to the exposed steel framed structure, could satified condition of fire proofing (3hours) and made luxurious effects on the side of design.
In case of circular column, we acquired extra 100mm inside space compared to Wet Fire Proofing Method.
Also, by applying to the open type elevator and celling, we could maximized design effects. -
