Overview

Hot Stove is a facility that helps burn coke by blowing hot air of 1200-1300℃ obtained through heat exchange between the Combustion Chamber equipped with a burner and the Checker Chamber composed of Checker Bricks into the Hot Stove.

The built-in stove (Checker Brick), which is in direct contact with high-temperature/high-pressure hot air, is exposed to significant thermal stress & shock, so superior durability and high heat storage are required.

Checker Brick with large heat storage area and active heat exchange through holes in the grid is used for Checker Chamber, and Alumina-Silica and High Alumina Refractory Brick/Castable linings are applied for Combustion Chamber and Floor.
