Heater
Overview
The Fired Heater of Oil refinery is one of the most important facilities that supplies the heat source necessary for the pre-heating and Heat Treatment of supplied raw materials such as hydrocarbons during the refining process. It is used for processing crude oil and raw materials that require a higher calorific value than the steam produced by the boiler.
The common types are Box type and Cylindrical (cylindrical) Radiant Section. As the wind speed and pressure are kept relatively stable at ambient temperatures up to 900℃, the inner lining is applied with paper lining using Ceramic Blanket with excellent thermal insulation performance.
Comprehensive specifications for fire-resistance linings related to Fired Heater design, materials, manufacturing, inspection, and installation are determined according to the recommendations of API560: Fired Heaters for General Refinery Service, and detailed items are determined according to the Licensor’s specifications.
